ZXO W2 — Recommended Configuration

A professional tower workstation concept built around one full-power NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Workstation Edition GPU. This is a recommended component direction, not an assembled or validated ZXO system.

32 cores / 64 threads, sTR5, 350 W TDP.

GPU
1 × NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Workstation Edition
96 GB GDDR7 ECC, 600 W maximum GPU power, double-flow-through cooling.
600 W is the GPU rating, not whole-system consumption.

Motherboard
ASUS Pro WS WRX90E-SAGE SE
ASUS CPU QVL lists the 9975WX from BIOS 1106. Verify the installed BIOS against the current CPU support list.
EEB 305 × 330 mm: the chassis must accommodate the exact board dimensions, standoffs and component clearances.

Memory
256 GB DDR5 ECC RDIMM, 8 × 32 GB in an eight-channel configuration.
Use a matched motherboard-QVL-supported module set. Final module model and operating speed require validation. No overclocked memory speed is promised.

Storage
2 TB NVMe SSD for operating system and applications.
4 TB NVMe SSD for active projects, models and datasets.
PCIe 4.0 or compatible PCIe 5.0 M.2 drives, with appropriate heatsinks.
6 TB is nominal raw aggregate capacity; usable formatted space is lower. These are two separate drives; no RAID or automatic data protection is implied.

Networking
Motherboard-integrated dual 10GbE; independent management LAN.
No additional network card is required for this baseline target.

Power supply
Seasonic PRIME TX-1600 ATX 3.1, 1600 W, 80 PLUS Titanium.
Use a PSU-approved native 600 W 16-pin / 12V-2x6 GPU cable.
PSU body: 210 × 150 × 86 mm; reserve cable and connector clearance in addition.
The manufacturer's 1600 W rating applies at 115–240 VAC. Confirm the regional model, actual supply voltage, plug, cable and site branch requirements for the final build. Rated output is not constant wall consumption.

CPU cooling
Noctua NH-U14S TR5-SP6, dual 140 mm PWM fans; manufacturer lists 9975WX CPU compatibility.
Cooler dimensions: 165 mm high × 150 mm wide × 111 mm deep. Chassis fit, memory clearance and sustained-load performance require validation.

Chassis cooling direction
High-airflow tower with a clear front/bottom intake and rear/top exhaust path.
Preserve clearance around both sides of the GPU's double-flow-through cooler.
Fan selection, dust filtration, GPU power-cable clearance, thermals and acoustics must be validated with the actual enclosure and workload.

Software direction
Windows 11 Pro for Workstations for supported professional graphics applications, or an application-qualified Linux environment for AI workflows.
Finalize OS, NVIDIA driver, CUDA/framework and application versions together; workload-specific compatibility and licensing require confirmation.

Engineering status
Recommended component targets. Chassis fit, GPU airflow, sustained-load thermals, power-cable clearance, PSU integration and site input-power requirements remain subject to engineering validation.
The 600 W GPU and 350 W CPU ratings sum to 950 W before other components. This sum is not a measured system peak or a measured wall-power value.
